The only great Rice helmets were in the Neeley years. The numbered helmet & the owl one. Truly Rice.

The only rice helmet I like is whatever rice helmet that happened to be in use when I was in college. All other helmets suck. The ponies should go back to whatever helmet was in use when I was at SMU also. Only then were they using good uniforms. Everything else is non-traditional.

Can we just officially do away with the "Dave Smith Ohio State look". I can not believe the AD at that time would agree to that lookt. One of the most ugly uniforms in college football until the Oregon State inspired Nike look.

I prefer the red helmets with the Mustang, but I can certainly live with the 2002 hat.

As for Rice, I always like the 1982 and 83 version with the "War Owl."
