Under the radar

Postby Ikus » Sun Jun 29, 2008 11:04 pm

We're all excited about Coach Jones and his recruits, but let's not forget they're all freshman. Many won't play, and those who do invariably will make their share of mistakes.

Instead, I think the more important thing is to look at the guys who have been bere already and done little or nothing, and might step into a larger role. My suggestions:

Rock Dennis
Pete Fleps
Bradley Haynes
Adrian Dizer
Bryce Tennison

Tennison was named by Texas Football as the freshman most likely to make an impact this season, so you might be on to something.

Really eager to see Rock crack some folks coming across the middle.
I really shouldn't drink and type.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what Dennis can do healthy. Dizer too.

I just hope Dizer's back is healthy.

OK, I hope that, and I hope he can fly around the edge, knock down passes and mangle a QB or 12.

I played bball at Dedman with Dizer earlier this summer. Looked perfectly healthy, and adequately terrifying.
