No kidding. He also engineered an offense that either broke or at least seriously approached the record for the most yards in school history.

I think it's pretty fitting that JJ is going to start off his career dominating the owls in the same stadium where bennett's time really ended...had we gained even 1 yd in those 4 plays, everything would be different now.

why stop at Bennett. Quite literrally Rice Stadium is the graveyard of all post DP SMU Head Coaches with Bennett, Cavan and Rossley all suffering humiliating career ending losses.
