I think somewhere in between the Cheerleading of an SMU fan ("We're kickin [deleted]") and the expectation that TCU's Class could be one of the best non-BCS classes in years. But then again I don't grade on the SMU curve or the CUSA West curve. Nobody in this conference recruits well.

Thought you would have figured it out by now.

I value your opinion. So I will ask you what you think of who Jones has recruited in comparison to previous years. With my untrained eye, it looks like we are doing better and competing for better kids. It would be foolish of me to compare it to TCU.

Thanks.

Bennett peaked about three or four classes ago and then really struggled in his last few groups as the reality became apparent he couldn't turn it around. Overall I really thought he would make the turn and thought giving him some extra time was worth the shot, but in hindsight it might have been better to cut the losses sooner. But then you may never had even chased after JJ or someone similar so maybe in the end it works out great.

TCU really turning in a good group this year and will see if it holds. If so it could be one of the better groups from a non-BCS school in quite a while, so that should be more of a long term goal. As mentioned above JJ still relationship building and knowing how hard he works I expect him to really have an effect as the year goes by and especially next year.

JJ is focusing on the trenches as mentioned and M Frazier though may only be here a few seasons could really turn out to be a very nice addition in the middle. This so far isn't nearly as good as bennett's best class, but definitely a better start than the last few.

Yep, TCU's great players were lucky to beat our bad, poorly coached players last year.
