A waste of time.
Damn. I don't think a better answer to a question has ever been given on PonyFans.com

But seriously, folks...what is AARO? I've seen signs all over the campus and I don't know what it is.

Essentially a summer orientation. They should just force everyone to go to Corral instead. AARO is a joke. AARO = Academic Advising Registration and Orientation.

AARO is worthless!
I remember freshman year we played some game that involved goodies and baddies and we had to guess who they baddies were.
Sir, shooting-star, sir. Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.

It's been more than a week since these were first mentioned, and I'd like to pick up a few. Are they widely available across campus yet or is my best bet to go to the SID's office at Loyd Center, Room 307?

HUGE thanks to the Athletic Marketing department!! I called up to request the new poster, and one week later, 2 posters and 2 wallet calendars arrived in the mail. Skyler hooked me up, and didn't even ask if I was an alum or student (although I did drop that I was in the Mustang Club). I don't know if this would've happened in the past, but I have a new sense that they really do value us fans.
Proud to be a Mustang!
On a side note, I called up sports talk radio here in Nashville this afternoon and got SMU and JJ about 5 minutes of air time. Former UT @ Knoxville coach Doug Matthews thinks JJ will have great success at SMU given the talent and resources (and we will out recruit TCU!). He thinks SMU will get to the level of BYU during the Ty Detmer era and compared the offensive philosophy. The other co-hosts think it will be too difficult to get top talent into SMU given the tough academic standards, but do see success on the horizon. All good pub.
