maybe we could wear red for certain teams that we play
and blue for others, such as red for rice, t.c.u. and
blue for t.t. and couger high.

I imagine the opposing teams' colors would be taken into consideration.

should the blue jersey be considered like ND's green and gold jerseys?

should the blue jersey be considered like ND's green and gold jerseys? No, we should just switch from red to blue depending on what the main color of the enemy will be wearing. ,

A-freakin-men to that. RednBlue11 wrote:should the blue jersey be considered like ND's green and gold jerseys?
That's what I thought of first when I saw the new jerseys. But I doubt it'll be like that, though it'd be pretty cool. Wear them only when we play TCU or something like that.
Probably will be based on whatever team we're playing against.

We should wear Red if we ever play on Christmas- otherwise pack them away in a back closet. The entire idea of the Red Mustang on a white helmet is to contrast with the blue in the jersey.

Agree 100%. Surprised you feel that way, though, as wasn't your guy Cavan the first to have broken out the red jerseys post-DP?

The blue jerseys should be put in the same cabinet with the red Jets jerseys from the Cavan era - lock'em up and toss the key.

No. They're better than ND's jerseys.
We should wear whatever the coaches want us to wear, regardless of what the other team wears. If they're that worked up about clashing colors, THEY can change.

duh...i was talking about what high regard they hold the green jersey as opposed to their blue ones....i was wondering in a round about way whether we should consider one to be more special than the other and save it for certain games.

Yes you want to brand your look so it is universally recognized-not be the Best Dressed Gang in the Land with 26 different uniforms. Its silly to have multiple uniforms
