he said coach briles approached Coach Phil and said "why do you let your players conduct themselves that way?" Coach Phil said "what"? and that he was unaware of what they had done. And then Coach Briles said "don't you have control of your players?".
he also said Justin Willis was talking trash the whole night. He said that Justin was even talking trash directly to the Houston head coach. After a run down the sideline Justin supposedly screamed "Coach Briles this is what I am gonna do all night long".
i guess it started last year when the Houston players ran through the group of SMU players during warmup?
this could be a good rivalry over the next few years!
The Coogfan.com predictions posted in another thread (or possibly on the other board) reminded me of this thread. Do you think June Jones is into his players getting riled up with trash talk, or to be quiet and emotionless?

I should hope that the players would be controlled in their lust for battle! An entirely emotionless team becomes apathetic towards the battle's outcome.
