See what happens when your favorite potato chip eating web nerds sit down with the font of all POWAH, Mustang Head Coach - Strength and Conditioning, the legendary Vic Viloria.
See: freshman DL Evan Huahulu break da chains
See: Bryce Tennison (who PF.com is predicting to have a breakout season BTW) warming up for Rice
See: whether Chase Smith has recovered from his shoulder injury (and watch what happens to a steel bar when you load it up with 528 lbs.!)
It's all there. On the homepage.
P.S. The file is a 14MB quicktime vid, so you might be better off right-clicking and downloading to your hard drive if your Internet connection isn't sufficient to stream it.

FYI: the chains that you see draped over the end of the bar when Evan Huahulu is bench pressing weigh about 20 pounds apiece.
The purpose is to help the guys fight through fatique and that point when the arms want to stop extending. Those who have lifted weights know that it's a lot easier to extend their arms in the last part of the lift than it is with the bar lying flat across the chest. By lifting with the chains on the bar, it's like gradually adding weight. The chains are piled up on the floor when the lifter has the bar on his chest, and as the bar goes up higher, additional links of the chains are added to the weight being lifted, so the resistence is fairly consistent throughout the extent of each lift. When the arms get close to straight, and have more force behind them, the bar counters with more weight. Vic Viloria said the addition of the chains really accelerates the lifter's increase in strength.

There's a link on the PonyFans.com homepage.
Look for the picture of Chase Smith with a bar across his shoulders, and click that.

PonyFilms is just a title for what we plan to be an ongoing feature on PonyFans.com
We'll probably have a video, like the interview with Vic, every week until football season starts, and then we'll probably increase the coverage throughout the season.

I can not view the video. I tried right clicking to save to the hard drive and it still doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

You need to see it - nice shot of Evan on the bench press.
I found I had to download a new version of Quicktime, and it worked fine from there.

This site always knocks 'em out of the park. There's never been anything close to it, and never will be.
