I have an old model iPhone and am not getting a 3G. I upgraded to iphone 2.0 and it is awesome.
However, I also got "Mobile Me." Does anyone else have this product? Near as I can tell, it is the single greatest waste of $99 ever. I am not sure, other than another email address, what exactly, if anything, I got. It was billed as "Exchange for the rest of us." Near as I can tell, it is anything but. It seems as if it does nothing you couldn't get for free from a half-dozen different places.
mail: Already have 3 email addresses, now I have 4 and I can view them all online. So what?
online picture gallery: Aren't there 50 websites that allow you to do the same thing for free?
idisk: Again, can get this elsewhere. For free.
contacts: Big whup.
Calendar: I was hoping to set up an online calendar for me and my family. This thing doesn't allow me to share my calendar with anyone; it doesn't allow me to send invitations; I can't sync my calendar with other people. What does it do?
Seriously, does this do anything?
iPhone 3G and Mobile Me

they're worth a penny but hell people pay stupid money for less these days...my g/f stood in line for 4.5 hours when it went on sale and it doesent look any cooler and apps are still being stolen from the creators by apple...Steve Jobs is a huge [deleted]-hole, but he is one creative bastard.
if you wait a month someone will find a way to hack it and unlock it and post it on youtube like they did with 1.0
