SMU Has Apparently Dropped Tech in 2009
wasn't that supposed to be a profitable home game?

according to some unverified sources on this Tech Scout message board thread, SMU asked to push the game back a year or two.

We'd better double check which year or two we're pushing it to, or we'll wind up with aTm and TT on back to back Saturdays.
Maybe we're shuffling things around to try and accomodate a Hawaii game next year?
