As a non bias fan I think SMU should consider putting in real seats opposed to higschool aluminum bleachers before it can call another stadium an eye sore. Having those bleachers might be fitting considering the level of play displayed by this program the last 23 years. Just something to consider before bashing another school's stadium.

That must be forum lingo. I am not sure what or who "Fiesty" is but I am just making a general comment about the two stadiums. Just something to consider and there is no need to become so sensative.

I went to Texas. You just earned the [deleted] comment of the week comparing those two programs. What a joke.

I also don't see them ripping another school for trying to make improvments to their stadium.

I guess we can start assuming. I realize there is a rivarly here but it is just amusing to see such disgust about a new stadium that I don't think is going to look that bad after they tear the current one completely down. I just think SMU has a lot of work to do as well.

ok fine but we're not here to pay them compliments...i mean how far do you think it would go on a UT board complimenting a potential renovation of Kyle field?
and what do we have to work ok? Ford Stadium is 8 years old...if you are referring to the size then it can be finished out in the south end zone provided June Jones gets things turned around ...and something that most people outside of the UP cities don't know is that there is a hight restriction on buildings, hence our field is below grade

I agree. I just think give credit where credit is due. If Kyle Field made upgrades that made it look more asthetically pleasing and provided more tickets to the game then I wouldn't care one bit.
