I have plenty to say but it appears you are the only one who cares. To me it isn't worth going fack and forth with you about such an insignificant program. Lets just leave it at that.

well i care because..
1. I go to SMU and i take pride in the program no matter where it finishes.
2. I don't really get why you continue to point out the obvious, our football program has not been good for 20 years...we know.
3. I haven't been taking shots at UT so i'm not sure where your hostility is coming from, i grew up in Austin and i love UT but your comments have been lacking in substance...and why are you still posting if you don't care about SMU? consider that rhetorical.

I'm pretty sure that drawing is highly preliminary.
But until y'all win a game there, who cares what you think of it?

all i have to say about all this is that for that kind of money, i would want a little more than a roman coliseum observing deck in the end zone and a growth coming out of the side. nobody said Ford was a crown jewel of the football world either but i dont think we spent $175M for it

I can assure you that isn't Feisty.
BTW, ND remodeled their stadium a few years ago. Very nicely done.

Those are "new" wood bleachers
They used the orginal brackets and actually spent more money refurbishing the old bleachers than the cost of newer ones. i thought they did a great job and still a spectacular place to see a game.

I think SMU should consider putting in real seats as
opposed to high school aluminum bleachers before
it can call another stadium an eye sore.
Clarification
I would assume that the description above is incorrect.
I've only seen pictures of the exterior of Ford Stadium.
As I recall the exterior is covered entirely with brick.
Therefore it would seem highly unlikely that the entire
inner structure of such a stadium would be composed
of aluminum bleachers.

I've sat in your stadium. And you have aluminum bleachers like us, so drop the high and mighty business.
Face it, you're stadium is a dump and it would be best to honor the late Amon Carter with a NEW stadium the school can be proud of. These drawings are a mess.
