Rice adds another one

Rice gets DB Broderick Jackson from Kirbyville who reportedly had an offer from SMU. Also got a commitment from a small private TAPPS school (Parish Episcopal in Dallas) that reportedly had about offers from Arizona, BYU and Kansas. Good class by Rice standards especially their last 6 straight commitments who all got quality offers.

Well, I guess we have more people on this board who are more interested in Rice recruiting than SMU recruiting. I'm sorry, I thought I punched up www.ponyfans.com. Maybe I was wrong.

Yeah, I will have to admit to being surprised that Baliff is putting together. He must have some good recruiters.

Hey, always a good idea to keep an eye on the rest of the conference.

Jackson put us at 13 commitments. 6 have at least one BCS offer, some from schools that we haven't even tried to recruit against before. Ross is not one of the 6, but he could end up being the star. Due to the small senior class we don't have many slots left.
