The SMU bookstore has gotten in the first of the sideline wear - short sleeve polo shirts in Harvard blue with stripes on the sleeves similar to those on the soccer jerseys and a red pony on the upper left chest. Except for the striped sleeves, it's not bad looking.

Do parents get to purchase jerseys with their sons name and number? Seems I heard something about NCAA rules regarding this. Thanks

If the NCAA could find a way to screw something up, they will without even trying. They work real hard in making bad decisions
As for the colors, if the red is near a Harvard, tinted crimson-red, it should be pretty sharp looking.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Mrs. H - you can usually buy the jerseys with your childs name, but they are not cheap. Your son should be able to organize it through the athletic department. We would always go to the Secretary, but I am not sure who that is now.
Sports, and all that implies.

Shhhh...she's a Pony. It's hard to break it to them that they're not Harvard,

Glad you brought that up. Did ya'll notice that Northwestern did in fact go ahead and change their unis? Did you want to follow suit again?
