Rugby does not allow blocking or forward passing so there are limits to the options available.

I also found myself at the bottom of too many loose scrums with No Options but to cover essential parts of my anatomy! :D

there are also Rugby leagues that require a kick upfield if ten passes have been made and no try or kick has been scored

I think you are confused by the fact that #10 on a rugby team does a lot of the kicking. In Rugby league there are six tackles and then the ball is handed over, so usually after the 5th tackle they will kick.

I may be wrong, but certainly such a rule is not present in either League or Union codes.

it depends on the league...in international play possession only changes when the ball is scored or it is taken away, tackles are unlimited...it is league or union who kick after the 5th tackle, i dont remember which...i doubled the limit in my head for some reason.

[quote="MrMustang1965"]Weird. Only someone in California could think up something like this!

2 QBs. 11 eligible players.

Now all they need - hockey sticks and a basket ball rim!

“First, though, Piedmont coaches had to make sure this offense was actually legal. Bryan and Humphries scoured the rulebook, met with league officials and submitted the concept of the offense to the National Federation of High Schools and the California Interscholastic Federation.â€

I'd run one of those gimmicky 1 DL- 2LBs on the LOS defenses that Dom Capers would throw out there when coached Carolina. Just throw everyone out into coverage and see where it goes from there.
