Mustangs Kids Club, formerly Jr. Mustang Club

Postby ponywhupp9202 » Fri Jul 25, 2008 10:58 am

Below is some information I just received from the SMU office concerning an inquiry into the Jr Mustang Club for the 2008/2009 season. I have a PDF of the registration form, but do not know if I can post it here. It should be up on smumustangs.com soon, but you can contact Skyler at [email protected] if you want to resgister sooner. I wanted my kids to have their shirts before the first game. I thought some of you would like to know. Thank you.

David,

Attached is the info for the Mustangs Kids Club (formerly the Junior Mustang Club). The website is still being worked on for the 2008-09 season. We also planning a Kids Club Kickoff at the SMU Women’s Soccer game on August 23, where the kids can register for the club and pick up there shirts. If you don’t think you and your sons will be able to make you can just send in the registration form and I can mail you the shirts. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks

Don't know anything about this Club. Sounds like it is only for boys. Is that correct?

No, it's for all kids 12 years old and younger. For $20, your child gets a Mustang Kids Club t-shirt, periodic news letters, discount or free vouchers for them or their friends to certain sporting events, a birthday card, etc... I have two boys (9 and 5) and I started signing them up about 4 years ago. It used to be a much better deal. I think the cost to join was $12 or something similar and they would receive fist fulls of free ticket vouchers to football and basketball games. Now it looks like they get free tickets to a few other sports and periodic discounts to football and bastketball games. We have 4 season tickets, but the free ones were great for bringing friends, in-laws, and such.

That would be the 'Stallion Kids Club' which includes a signed drawing of our most congenial PF legend.
