I predict we run and shoot our way to a win, 95-21.

If you were there like I was, it was one of the weirdest feelings to experience. I can still hear that damn siren.

Already got our revenge in 1992. It was much more personal and satisfying watching that same group who had been freshman in 1989 open up a can of whuparse on the Coogs at Ownby. It almost felt like we were running up the score on them. Aside from the TCU win a few years ago, probably one of the best and most fun home wins of the post DP era.

General, Hoop, I'm sure it was great. Unfortunately I was 8 years old in 1989 with a UT alumnus father....so I honestly had no idea the game had even happened.

Obviously 95-21 won't be happening this year, but I see no reason we can't take them down.

The huge unknown is our defense. A new coaching staff and a new scheme makes predictions pure guess work at this point. The score may be dead on and it may not. We will not know until after our first 3 games what our D will be like. The scary part is the first of those 3 games is a conference game.

makes sense now that i think of it. its the same einsteins who showed up last time the moment the gates opened and were talking trash to our backup kickers 2 hours before the game (true story)

Still the most unbelievable game I've ever attended. Wanted to wake up out of a bad dream, but alas, I walked out of the Astrodome with my bandmates pretty embarrassed. Never took so much gruff from coworkers, friends, family after that one. Could have easily been 116-21 had they not pulled Ware at halftime.

The '92 revenge 'Way to go - Romo!' game was nice.

Thought Romo was a Senior that year but guess his eligibility was up. Screw me. What a GUY-Frieberger.

After waiting over 2 months, SMU AD Steve Orsini made a big "splash" hire with Jones (quote)
