ECU does have the fan support, they sell out their football games and have a rowdy and dedicated following....and they probably play the toughest non conference schedule of any C-USA team BUT...

that really hasn't translated to success on the field. I find it funny they want to sell their souls to move to the Big East and not take money till they win the Big East, but hell, they haven't even won C-USA yet.

another problem he has is that he is asseting two incompatable initiatives. Joining the Big East AND expanding the CUSA eastward. He needs a Class in Logic-why should CUSA care about ECU when they show disloyalty and would jump at the first chance.

I think he is seeing the writing on the wall that the Big East thing is not going to happen, so he is trying to rattle the sabre and get C-USA to be more 'ECU' centric....

Tough talk from a guy whose football team lost a chance to play in the title game by losing to Rice....
