A tournament for the "coolest helmet" includes Notre Dame (classic look, but not cool), A&M (butt-ugly), Miami (somewhere in between the two) and Penn State (some high school team's practice helmets?)
That SMU is not in that tournament - and winning it, or at least beating those four - says all you need to know about the tournament. It's ESPN pandering to schools with enormous fan bases so they'll all log in and vote.
Yawn.
"It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses." ... "Hit it."

Makes you wonder how Nevada and South Florida made it into this group, right? At least this pointless poll is online only. The Titletown USA crap has got to be over soon or I will drive up to Bristol and go postal on somebody.

Absolutely right 'guy. ESPN is part of the BCS-BS so they're all tied in together. There ya go.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

I miss the big show.
i agree 100%, i dont think williamsport, va is titletown... same goes to that crap of "who's now" and had weeks of voting of who was the most popular athlete. seriously, what the hell is the criteria for "Now" ?
