If the guys not listed are on campus at the start of school. They are grey shirts. If they are not on campus then the final grades got them check the near by prep schools or jc and you will most likely see the players name.

No actually greyshirts can't receive financial aid during the Fall Semester so they may not be on campus either

They don't enroll until January. Greyshirts occur when you go over the 25(per year)/85(per roster) rule.

No. Their scholarships just start in the following calendar year. Normally they know this at the time they sign (or hopefully when they commit), but at times they do not and they might go elsewhere.

If you are a freshman, not on the fall roster, you are a grey shirt; is that correct.
If you are not a freshman, not on the fall roster, you are either injured or what? Still on the team and able to report on Aug. 29th instead of Aug. 3rd?
Who not on the fall roster is no longer on the team?
Antaki
Beckner
Bennett
Furtwengleer
Geldert
Hill
Michelson
Shankle
Sullivan

Are you sure that is correct? I thought that greyshirts could be part-time students in the Fall, paying their own way of course.

I think that is what he is sayng. They may choose not to enroll due to the out of pocket cost.

Will they have to cut the roster down from 105 to 85? How do they do that?

they don't have to cut the Roster down. You can have 85 scholarship players and something like 15-20 preffered walkons in camp from the first day of fall practice until the first day of school classes. After school starts all other walkons can join the team.

Not sure why Bennett and Shankle aren't on the list to practice. Bennett played a lot last year and I really don't see another long or short snapper we could use in place of him. Also, isn't Shankle fighting for playing time at a new position this year? He was a RB now a DB. Where is this list from again?

No reason a quality, proven snapper has to show up at the early sessions. He can continue to practice on his own and show up at the later date. More important to have the players needing to hone their techniques in blocking and tackling to be there from the beginning.
