How'd they do?
Let me re-phrase that: How did Braden Smith and McJunkin and Thompson and Whittington do?
(EDIT: sorry - just realized the game is tonight, not last night.)

Interesting - players are really changing for this game:
They list Braden Smith at 6-1, an inch taller than SMU lists him.
Blake McJunkin is listed at 6-3, 245, while SMU lists him at 6-2, 256.
Taylor Thompson is listed at 6-6, an inch shorter than SMU lists him.
Best one: Quincey Whittington has grown THREE inches for this game! SMU lists him at 5-7, but for this game, apparently he's 5-10.

no roster in any HS sport will have accurate heights and weights

to be fair not many of them are going to see the field this year, i mean there are 3 grayshirts
I would not think any of those would gray shirt.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
There's a good chance none of those will even redshirt ... and there's zero chance any of them is a grayshirt.
I'm with PonyLove on this - why are our players even allowed to play in these games, especially with the team reporting NEXT WEEK? If it's determined in advance that a guy will redshirt ... maybe. But I doubt anyone's redshirt status has been determined yet.
And if you do have to let players take part in these things, why isn't the game played in May or June? The whole event is so moronic it seems like it was planned by North Texas State and Frog High grads.

i mean in general, with a class of 28 there are going to be several players who will see limited or no action for at least a year

Agreed with the injury concerns. Look at what happened to Zach Rhodes. He got injured in a senior All- Star game. He missed his whole freshman year, couldn't throw with accuracy or strength his next year and then transferred the year after that.
Nothing good comes out of All-Star games. The only positive example would be from a player who has no offers or looks for whatever reason and needs something like this to bring attention to him. Even with that example, not many of these games are played in time to give a player like that an opportunity.
