EXCELLENT FOR SMU!!!!
Academics over political correctness - whoops - I mean BS! BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
UD definitely has us beat on that, no matter what the PR says... Sir, shooting-star, sir.
Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.
Re: Princeton Review RankingsYep...no one is going to mistake us for Berkeley.
You must have missed the Forbes rankings...
Saw the Forbes ranking. Too bad the ranking is a joke...
I'm not saying the US News rankings is the be all and end all of rankings. It certainly has its problems. But most students and parents still refer to it for better or worse. I'll know SMU is a top 25 caliber academic institution when it gains membership in this institution. http://www.aau.edu/
SMU is a liberal arts school not a research university, so it would be highly unlikely to be included in the AAU
Well, SMU certainly likes to compare itself or aspires to be like a lot of schools on this list:
http://www.aau.edu/aau/aaufact.cfm And you're wrong on your assessment of SMU's status as a "liberal arts" school. While liberal arts may be an important part of SMU ( I'm a Dedman College grad) according to the Carnegie Foundation, SMU is classified as a Doctoral/Research University. http://www.carnegiefoundation.org/class ... &start=782
Let me rephrase that SMU is not a R-01 university when it comes to funding from the NIH all the other schools on that list are.
