Please, this is all about reality, not UT vs. SMU. We do not compete with UT for blue chips and you guys know it. I could say the same thing about OU, USC, Notre Dame, LSU, and a whole bunch of other BCS schools. We compete for lower-than-top tier recruits with NTSU, UTEP, Tulsa, Rice and the like. Admit it, everyone, and get out of fantasy land.

Jones will malke this team better, but he will do it with recruits who want to come here instead of go to Sam Houston State, not instead of UT.

The reason I live in Dallas instead of a swamp is because SMU got my dad to break his commitment to LSU and come to the Hilltop.

So we've done it before, and we'll do it again.

But surely you didn't expect June, as great as he is, to strut down to Austin an hijack all of Mack's kids did you? As the movie says, "Build it, and they will come."
