If I would adopt this as MY workout schedule, I would be in damn good shape by game time. I may print it and stick it on the cublicle wall.
Or I could just eat another donut.

Those practices appear to be the second half of two-a-days ... after three-hour sessions in the mornings. Ouch.

Am I wrong or are there just 4 days of 2-a-days. That is pretty light. We had 2 weeks worth in my day and it was uphill both ways.

Yeah, not to mention the 2 feet of snow you had to plow through while doing it. Oh BTW, there are seven days of two a days. Three are on Saturdays. The player's dates are going to love it.
I know, it's still not the same as back in the dinosaur days.

When I enlarged the calendar, I cut off the Saturdays. Still seems light to me. Is this a Jones thing or does "keep them alive" PC limit the number of 2-a-day practices now?

I count 7 total. That may not be completely unreasonable. Our schedule was a bit different. We had about a week of non-pad practice and we had 3 a days. This continued even after we put the pads on. They were killer. My Sr. year, the summer of 1980, the coaches decided it was too hot for 3 a days. So we had early AM practices and late PM practices (to avoid the heat) with skull sessions during the middle of the day.
There have been practice time limits placed by the NCAA since the dark ages of my youth. JJ is probably using every second the NCAA will allow for on field practice.
Given the early end to practices throughout the schedule, I suspect there will be a rather significant amount of time in skull sessions. Since this is a new system, that hopefully will pay huge dividends.

I do feel better since I realized that expanding the size of the calendar so I could read it with old eyes, I had chopped off the Saturdays. I have no complaint with any method Jones wants to use. It is just that when I thought it was only 4 days, that seemed almost not worth while any 2-a-days at all.
