From time to time I look at this board. For those that are happy about SMU's ranking, it speaks volumes about you. I haven't posted for a long time. However, if you happen to pride yourselves on your ranking you are letting down your community, your university, your friends, your church, and all the SMU fans that are not part of the Dallas community. I would direct you to Glide Memorial UMC in SF. (go to the website) They have been performing gay marriages for a long time. If you want to be a southern school, out of touch with the rest of America, that is your issue. Please don't make it so difficult for the rest of the nation to support you. As you have seen, UMC members do look at your university as a bastion for some thought. Open your eyes/minds and join with the rest of us. We don't wave the confederate flag, we don't hate, we are mostly a pretty mainline denomination. Open Doors, Open Hearts, Open minds, our church is very divided about gay people. Please do not take pride in this ranking. Our Church does state that Gay people are to be treated like everyone else. Soooo Don't talk about the rednecks at Texas Tech., at least until you have pulled the log out of your eye.
Re: Princeton Review Rankings
basically it means that there are only 13 other schools where people feel more pressure to dress, act, and vote the same way. "There ain't nothing you can't solve with one more beer"
