I have not heard anything about whether Bennie Thomas is out there or not. Is he?

You should get PonyStampede. DC Tom Mason had an interview mentioning Bennie Thomas and stated he believes SMU is 5 Deep at CB which I guess would be McCann, Bell, McElroy, Thomas, and Crosby

No, you shouldn't. I've found it to be a complete waste of my money, and I've long since stopped going over there.

Besides, if you believed everyting coaches say, especially in the always optimistic preseason, we would have had a team full of All-Americas for the last six years and collected a shelf full of bowl trophies. He's an optimistic guy, it seems, and it's preseason. Do you expect him to say "we have nobody who can play"?

Good Point DD. I don't generally believe a thing a coach says about how great unproven players are in practice either but I do believe they generally have a good idea about who is participating in practice-which I was responding too. I find the Coaching interviews to be among the best additions in a long time to the SMU information database though.
