i read this from Jay Mariotti's column this morning in the Chicago Sun-Times and laughed out loud on the train coming in to work.

One day, while taping our TV show on ESPN, I told Bill Plaschke, the Los Angeles Times columnist, that he’d be the first American sportswriter tossed in jail here. I was wrong.
