Excepts from a Marshall Story-Danny Sheridan really must not like SMU-those are really really astronomically-I wonder if it meant 25-1.
NOTES: The Herd is featured in an article in USA Today on Conference USA, with a picture of McClellan making a tackle at Tennessee and a smaller picture of Snyder. Danny Sheridan makes the Herd a 25:1 choice to win the league and ahead of only UAB(100:1), Rice and SMU (250:1). UCF and Tulsa are the favorites at 2:1, while East Carolina and Memphis (3:1) are next, followed by Houston and Southern Miss (5:1) and Tulane/UTEP (15:1)

I'm not a betting man and really don't believe we'll win the league any time in the next couple of years, but I'd lay money on the 250:1. Ridiculous.

Absolutely. What if JJ repeats here what he did in his first year at Hawaii?
By the way, I don't know who the bigger doofus is, Trump or Lloyd Christmas.

One man's doofus in another man's lucky SOB
I personally can't stand the guy. The avatar is tongue and cheek, I figured most people on the board wouldn't know who Sam Zell is.

even 50-1 seems excessive in this Conference. Now I think Tulsa could end up being a pretty strong team but injuries can derail any team. Otherwise, all the other schools in the West are all pretty much equally mediocre. Its different than say Baylor winning the Big 12 which might really be a 250-1 Shot.

Hey RE when are you going to change that thunderdunk animation in your sig line. Granted I hate the Rockets, but it no longer hacks me off to see it. I figure if my hacked off state has been ground into cold submission, others who hate the rockets and love the mavs must feel the same way. Don't get me wrong, please feel free to have something pro rockets and anti-mavs, I guess I just need something new. I realized as I saw it today, it no longer raised my ire, which was sad. I wanted to be hacked when I saw it, and I was like, whatever, it's just current(ex)student.

Those odds are idiotic. Bodog doesn't have anything on C-USA but here are some lines for comparison:
Baylor to win Big 12- 70:1
Duke to win ACC- 100:1
Vandy/UK to win SEC- 50:1
KState/Ok. State to win BCS Championship - 125:1
In other words, there's absolutely no way that SMU could be 250:1 to win C-USA. Probably 250:1 to win BCS...
