After earning his place on the team as a walk-on two years ago, redshirting in 2006 and playing just special teams in 2007, sophomore linebacker Jason Jackson now finds himself working with the Ponies’ first-team defense. He really is a strong dude. The strength report has him squatting 561 and power cleaning ver 300!
Those who complain about a problem are simply wasting time they could use to fix it.

Potential is nothing, performance is everything.

so two of our three projected starting LBs are former walkons. This is either the ultimate feel-good story or a real cause for concern and an indictment of our past recruiting of scholarship athletes.
