Never. She's an SMU student, and she's an athlete. But she's not an SMU student-athlete.

I don't agree. I think there has been enough talk here to show there is enough interest for such an article. Besides there have been pieces on former SMU players competing at the NFL level. They are athletes and not/no longer student-athletes.

.... this is, of course, not to say that a feature must be done, but I don't think such a feature would be unwelcome to the PF visitors in the least.

Stanford has always claimed her as a Stanford athlete though she never competed for Stanford as she blow off her scholership to go on a nationwide tour after the 1996 games. But unlike Chelsea Clinton who said that she was going to be a doctor she did and now is in a resident program at Stanford.
