Actually the big news is the 15th commitment. Joey Fontana committed to SMU. #2 center according to Scout and selected SMU over Nebraska and a number of big time schools.

Who knows where he's ranked. One of the earlier stories on him listed him as being ranked No. 2 and No. 8 in the country .... and the rankings both were by scout. Whatever, he's apparently a good player, and I'm grateful he's headed to SMU. CONGRATULATIONS, COACHES, and WELCOME, JOEY!

Scout has him as the #2 center in the country, lets go with the positive for a change.

Ben Hughes he other center we picked up is not rated (top 20)but is the second two star at 5.4 which would put him at about number 22 I am not being negative in fact I believe when you can get the number 14 and 22 from any of the scouting services list your are doing better than OK. The reason I mentioned this is that a lot of people on pf seem to place rivals quite high in their evaluations. I have no opinion on any of the scouting services.

I am worried about the well being of Stallion. You have totally baited him by calling an SMU recruit the #2 player in the country and no response. Someone send emergency services to his house to check on him.

Had offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Arkansas as well. As Stallion likes to say, BCS offers.

Why would I be upset with a kid who got a boatful of quality offers? If and when SMU recruits any semblance of a quality football team then I will be the biggest cheerleader on the board. I look forward to the day more expect SMU to compete for quality recruits. You guys are jumping on my recruiting bandwagon now. Ohhhh he is rated the No. 2 Center in America-we're goin' to kick some [deleted]!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys are the ones who are supposed to claim Rivals, Scout and offers from D1A programs are simply BCS propaganda.
