You don't "boo" college football players. Ever.
Any boos you hear from me are directed to the coaching staff. Or officials.

Really though, I'm not sure I understand what good booing does.

It makes me feel like a big man. That and smacking little kids and stealing their candy.

Congratulations! Would you do the same if it was JW? Or have his skins on the wall (in 2 seasons: 7 wins, 3 suspensions, 0 Conference Championships, 0 Bowl berths) earned him a pass?
I would boo JWill if he put up a crappy performance as well. I'm not boing anyone yet, or writing off the season. I hope there's no reason to boo. I have no reason to believe BLM or BS cannot handle the job yet. If we start out 0-6, I find it hard to believe there will be a lot to cheer about, though.
Again, don't boo a kid. Ever.
I'll bet you're against kids playing dodgeball in elementary school, aren't you?
Not at all. I just think that the competition should come from one's peers, not the peerers.

Fair enough.
Don't get me started on the zebras. You can't boo those eejits enough. I recall the NTSU game in Denton a couple of years ago. I was ready to disembowel one of them with a blunt melon scoop for failing miserably to call blatant pass interference on a would be touchdown when we were 7-6 down.

I've booed officials, and I've booed Phil Bennett. Not gonna deny that. Have never booed Bo Levi, nor JWill.
Will admit that I've shaken my head in utter disbelief at some of the things JWill's done on the the field, though, as well as some of those he's done off the field.
Now quit telling me not to ever boo players.

I quit, but reserve the right to sue for reinstatement at a later date. Thanks Junior.

I never said you had no right to, I just said that it wasn't right to.

You can boo all you want - as long as you know that EVERYONE around you will think you are a self indulgent jerk it you boo a player in a college game. Leave that to the gold chain wearing d-heads that are dying for everyone to know they are idiots.

Anyone who plays a spectator sport had better be ready to be spectated with cheers or boos. Or possibly jeers.
That said, booing a freshman QB in his first game is just low. He didn't pick the QB.

Course, how will elongated chants of "BO" be different from "BOO." Great name to have.
