Exactly. Until the new natatorium is funded and construction started on Bishop, the indoor FB facility should be on the waitlist. (Both will need a lead donor, BTW)
hypothetically, can you dig down? Can you build an indoor facility underground where the existing practice facility is and put field turf above it? Obviously, the ceiling would have to be high enough for lights and for passing, but working on special teams would not be an option.

Not a good idea. We are dramatically short of intramural and club sports fields as it is. We need to expand open ground for Student games, including lacrosse, etc.
