The novelty alone would boost recruiting.
Expen$ive and not a great location to put a box, i.e. on the corner of Mockingbird and Bishop.

I'd really like to get it some place by the stadium but still visible to 75 or at least the service road. Baird's would be visible but a bit of a walk. On top of the barnes&noble book store shopping center would be perfect.

That's a lot of money. Everything also depends on where Bush library is going.
Yeah, but since we aren't going to build anything that doesn't have a brick facade, would it really be that more expensive?
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

its not the facade thats the problem, we'd also have issue with the height limitations set on us by the Uparkians

Hell yeah why not? New York City subways are hundreds of feet down. Or alternatively you could slap it on top of a parking lot. It could have a glass wall like the Astros.

Agreed....
Let's just get a decent looking one built somewhere on or near campus. I'd even be ok with just putting it on the other side of 75 and making it look as bad as TCU's...provided it doesn't look like it has anything to do with the university.

NY subway was built during a time of cheap labour. Do you know the cost of a dig that size and deep at todays cost. Build on top faster construction and much less cost.

Underground tunnel across mockingbird, complete with moving walkways and turf. This way JJ & Co can cruise back over to Ford on the walkway while the guys who aren't executing do a few more suicides.
Man that would suck.
It tastes better when served from a Bowl (game)!

there's this thing called a drainage system and waterproofing that is in common use around the world in places where flooding is a lot worse

I remember a few years ago when all of the first floor residents of V-S were relocated, the cafeteria in Umph was flooded, the Boaz lot was a lake, and the bottom floor of Cox had to have industrial dryers for days after the rain. I think it's safe to say SMU doesn't use drainage systems.
