For those who were there, did they unveil the new uniforms? How did they look?

Just back in...they are terrific...the blue basically matches the color of the endzones.

A tradtional, pure SMU look.

Yeah, really. Maybe the dazzle factor will be good for an opening kickoff returned for a touchdown for SMU on Friday week.

If somebody has pictures from the luncheon, please post them.

PK may have a stroke if he sees the actual uniform. He has been hyperventilating just on the color discussion.

I'm sure MM1965 took some pics...once he gets to the computer I bet there's a few on here.

If the guy went out and took pictures of the billboards and lightpost signs I think it's a pretty good assumption he had the camera in tow for the luncheon.

I don't know why it didn't occur to me to take a picture of the white and blue uniforms with my phone. They didn't have the red up there; just the blue and white. The blue is the right blue; very close to the endzone color.

Oh, and by the way, they have a new inflatable white helmet for the tunnel. I hadn't thought of that; I am glad they did.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

You walked into the luncheon through the new white inflatable helmet which was pretty cool. The cheerleaders were shaking their pom-poms, and the band was playing "Peruna." The players had on what I imagine are part of their travel uniforms, red polos with blue ponies on them and blue warm up pants. After the JJ's simulated Q@A session the band played Varsity. Nice crowd.

I'm with PK on this one.

Is it "Tulsa" blue?
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

How can you be with PK, when PK can't decide which of the 14 different marketing samples of blue on various smu.edu pages he's adopting?

I thought Tulsa Blue was related to the depression associated with living there.

I have not been a fan of the "blue" but I'm tellin' you they are kick [deleted]. The pants look sharp - the white jerseys - great. The whole luncheon thing was first class. OUTSTANDING.

Had a little tete-a-tete with Gus Malzahn and he said the primary reason he accepted the Tulas OC job over riding it out at Arkansas was because Tulsa had "SMU blue" uniforms.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.
