well does that make a lot of sense? Aren't we wearing white against Rice?expony18 wrote:ive already seen a drawing, and honestly i think i want to be surprised next friday
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
iam excited about home and away.... i already have the white helmet in my living room so thats not a surprise anywaysDooby wrote:well does that make a lot of sense? Oh I have no problem picking the correct school colors. It is SMU that seems to have the problem. The colors shown on the Public Affairs site are the closest to correct, but the pms numbers they list are not correct for the colors shown. The marketing colors are terrible, but at least the pms numbers match what they are displaying. Remind me of the color of party balloons.jtstang wrote:NavyCrimson wrote:mrydel: PK may have a stroke if he sees the actual uniform. He has been hyperventilating just on the color discussion.
I'm with PK on this one.
Is it "Tulsa" blue?
How can you be with PK, when PK can't decide which of the 14 different marketing samples of blue on various smu.edu pages he's adopting?
I have said before that the team can wear pink for all I care as long as they win, however, having said that, I still think it is sad and pathetic that no one seems to be bothered by the fact that SMU's original school colors have been allowed to be reduced to simple generic red and blue with no meaning or purpose other than some marketing genius liked the colors.
Read my signature.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Sorry, but I couldn't care less what shade of PMS blue we wear, as long as we use our school colors, blue and red.
