According to www.hsgametime.com here are the top 20 teams in the D-FW area in Class 5A.

1. Euless Trinity
2. Plano
3. Southlake Carroll
4. Arlington Bowie
5. Allen
6. Skyline
7. Cedar Hill
8. Garland Naaman Forest
9. Hebron
10. DeSoto
11. Flower Mound Marcus
12. Colleyville Heritage
13. Plano East

Go Rowlett! I don't think I've ever seen them in a pre-season top 20. I graduated from there in '99 when it was only 3 years old and then went to SMU...it would be nice to see some good football for a change in my life.

Would love to have Rex Burkhead of Plano become a Mustang. He is so fun to watch-yes-even blistering my beloved Wildcats. With McJunkin here I think it atleast feasible.

SLC will be down this year, but their soph. class is the best to come through the school (they have never lost a game 7th grade to present)

Bowie is very good. It played Trinity in the Region I finals last year. They have always had pretty good talent down there but ridiculous coaching. Once Kenny Perry got there, they became a very formidable program.

Kenny is as good as they come in the coaching industry. Remember, he coached Julian Herron.

the only difference is a good education and a good football team. BOOYAH! (and other things like attractive women, nice houses, no tractors, etc.)
