Good luck to SMU this weekend.
I was enormously impressed with the hire of June Jones, and became an even bigger fan after hearing him interviewed a few times by the local media. The man radiates confidence and success and I really think he will boost your program to be a consistent contender in CUSA.
I would, however, urge you to temper your expectations for the first few weeks. Watching the first year of Mike Leach implementing his offense at Tech was pretty painful at times. Tech fans got real tired of the 3 yard passes that failed to convert on 3rd and 8. It takes time and repetitions for teams to get these offenses working efficiently.
Jones' transition may well go faster since he's actually been a head coach for many years, but expect some sputtering and frustration early on.
Good luck on the season - with the exception of Sept. 13.
I was born... on the Llano Estacado.

We'll try and help the ole strength of schedule for you for the next couple of weeks and then we'll do our best to bash your brains in.
And that is how it should be.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I just like saying it because when you say it to Tech fans, it's like a pavlovian dog reaction -- the hand signal immediately follows. As weird as this sounds: As much as I find Rice annoying, I find Tech amusing.

While I echo your advice to temper our expectations in the first weeks, this particular problem was cited by Jones as a major difference between the Leach's Air-Raid and our Airborn Express. From the sound of it I think we're going to be tired of the 35 yard pass that failed on 3rd and 1.

If Rice is annoying and Tech is amusing, then what is aTm?

Thanks, I always wondered. So, then, does spermicidal lubricant provide a defense against them?
I was confused by the logo when first I moved to Texas. I thought I was supposed to slide a plastic card up their buttcracks so as to have them vomit forth wads of cash.

No the State of Texas does that by pumping large sums of money like a paper enema into a useless pit of a school. Said money could be spread between UTEP, TS, TT and NTU to accomplish much more in a practical educational manner.
