We'll be in Houston THURSDAY NIGHT by midnight. We'll arrive at Rice Stadium around 4 p.m. Friday and make an appearance at the Mustang Club tailgate. Then we'll slip over to Special Delivery's, BUS's and One Trick Pony's tailgates to get fired up for the BIG GAME!

What time will you be arriving at IAH, RGV? That has a lot to do with 'the quickest route'.

3:30
Which means you won't actually get out of the airport until 4 p.m. or so...just as rush hour begins.

Alright...here's my suggestion. Get on the Hardy Toll Road southbound until you reach Loop 610. Take Loop 610 westbound to I-45 southbound. Take I-45 southbound to Allen Parkway. Take Allen Parkway westbound and then exit on Montrose. Take Montrose southbound to Main Street. Take Main St. southbound. You'll see Rice Stadium on your right hand side thru the Rice University tree-lined campus. Take Sunset Drive (right hand turn) over to Rice Stadium.

See ya there! GO MUSTANGS!

The Avis rental lot is not located inside the terminal. You have to go 'off site', I think. This may have changed since the last time I was at IAH. If you do go 'off site', you probably won't get on the road to Rice Stadium until 4:30 p.m. Take the same route just be prepared to hit a little more traffic.
