Updated Houston weather

Friday: Mostly sunny early in the morning then becoming partly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning. A 30 percent chance in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 90s. Northeast winds around 5 mph. Heat index readings 108 to 109 in the afternoon.

That ain't smog. The funk that hovers around Houston makes smog look healthy.

Actually, I am Mr. My Daughter is Dancing at Halftime and I Have Allen Season Tickets and a HD TIVO Covering My Fat Arse so I Can Appear to be a Caring Parent.

However, if there was no Allen game I had planned to haul the mega RV to Houston and watch the game with my daughter Mr. Cougar High High and Mighty Lawyer Kinda Guy

What's sad is that it was probably much harder to get season tickets for the high school games than it was for SMU...hopefully that changes soon, and not because Allen HS gets a new stadium.
