We've been running with the same look since 2003 so I've come up with something different for the start of the June Jones era - more in line with the simple, classic look of the new uniforms. The fact that I have multiple color schemes to choose from just shows how much of a nerd I am. You can see on the homepage that we will be in the "road whites" this weekend. :D

There is still a lot of stuff to get moved over but I wanted to get this out before the game tomorrow, and since I am in Houston right now on a mini-vacation I find my desire to work on it steadily decreasing - so there will be more in the coming weeks.

Home page looks great. I still don't even like the blue on the message boards...but I'm working on that. 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Consider this a shameless plug for a great friend, but our man Smoopower does one hell of a job with this site and doesn't get nearly the credit he deserves. When he gets these high-tech ideas, I never know what the hell he's talking about. "I AM" usually understands him, but they're both more technically inclined than I could ever dream of being. But in addition to coming up with new designs and making things look pretty spiffy, he also tackles a lot of technical issues that normal people can't even pronounce, much less explain and fix.

Nice work on the design, sir — enjoy the mini-vacation.

(By the way, this shameless tip of the hat means you're buying drinks for the Boulevard before the Texas State game ... and maybe every other game.)

Imagine my surprise when I open up www.ponyfans.com at my hotel room in Houston tonight and see the new design! I thought I had taken a wrong turn in Albuquerque! :shock:

Nice look. I'll have to get used to the new design and navigating around it but that shouldn't take too long.

Keep up the great work, guys! Ya'll rock! :D
