Your Arrogance and ego caused us to be embarrassed by starting a QB that had no business playing.... 3 game changing interceptions, 2 big unforced fumbles....all because you felt loyalty to him because he followed you here.
Maybe Bo could be good, but he should not have played this year..Straight and simple Karma..you ignored Willis, our record setting QB, and this is what we get.
'
Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are now the worst team in college football.

That didn't take long.
Matches the number of games into the Phil Bennett's tenure that fans were [deleted] about the coaching.
Good work, iceman.

We'll be fine.
We kept Dillard under 100 yards.
Take away the interceptions and its a one score game

This feels so much like the 38-7 Navy game I'm going to be sick.
I've got a bad feeling June Jones left his magic potion in Hawaii.

I have been mad since Willis wasnt the starter...I was willing to give it a chance...and it all blew up....Bo scored more points for Rice than he did for SMU.....he had no business playing this year..plain and simple.....

The Navy game was a matter of SMU not being prepared. We had no idea how to defend the option offense of PJ. It was as obvious as the nose on one's face that we were not prepared. We appeared prepared but overmatched tonight. We are young and we will make mistakes. Those mistakes make SMU look like the teams under Bennett and Caven. We sucked tonight but the season is not over and we have youth to improve. No major injuries and a ling week to prepare.

talk about a deer in the headlights look. i thought the poor kid was going to start crying next to JJ on the sideline between two different possessions. there was no leadership demonstrated on the field. it was void. not surprising, thats what happens with true freshman who cant really have built any respect or trust with their teammates yet. think about it.

OK wiseguy....simple fact...Bo scored more for Rice than SMU...he had no business being out there.....we may still have lost...but 5 stupid turnovers is unforgivable.
June set himself up for this by starting a true freshman when we had a great QB on the bench......He got what he (we) deserved.
