I love seeing A&M lose....especially to a Suck Belt team. NTSU took a thumping from K-State; not unexpected but apparently they looked the same or worse than last year on all fronts.

We will never hear the end of the Sunbelt boasting about this win over a Big 12 team. The UNT Green Beans will be all over our board alleging what they could against us this year after what happend against Rice.

I was at the game and came away with 3 things.
I realized McGee is not a pro style quarterback
The o line is the worst in the big 12
and Mike Goodson is the only bright spot on that team

I would say ECU had a bigger win for CUSA

We knew JJ would have issues with personnel right off the bat. But A$M should have enough studs to be better than ASU. If we think we have a long season, imagine the Aggie faithful that just fired a winning coach to get a coach that just lost at home to ASU.

No excuse for losing to AS but A&M does have issues. They lost 3 o-linemen to the NFL. WR is not a strong point to say the least. J-Train was out. McGee? They have their own QB isssues. The secondary is weak. Replacing multiple d-linemen and LBs. New coach with a new system that does not fit the personell. In their own way they are a lot like us only they are rebuilding not building. Most had them going 4-8 prior to the season. They do have a lot of young talent coming up.

A&M is the perfect example of a school whose fans have unrealistic expectation of a genuis Coach coming in and working miracles. They fired Franchione 1 year too early. They should have taken the momentum of beating UT two straight years to beat UT on the recruiting trail where they have made some in-roads in stopping the UT/OU monopoly. Instead, they went out an hired Coach X and Os from Pro Ball -and they will pay for that in a talent drop-off in coming years. The gap between TX/OU when Franchione first came was huge when Franchione first got there-it was closing to the extent that A&M could compete with UT on the field.

I know the aggies lost some players, but aTm has more talent on their 2nd string than Ark St has on their entire team. This has to be one of their worst defeats ever.
