Hold on there. Even if he came in and started every game for four years, do you realize how hard it would be to break every receiving record? He'd have to AVERAGE 59 receptions a year to break Jason Wolf's all-time record of 235. Not that he's not capable, but we don't run that gimmick run-n-shoot offense anymore, where we used to have Romo chucking the ball on every play. Bennett's fondness for the run makes that a little unlikely.

Sure would like to see him make a run at the record, though!

I was about to include the Wolf exception in my post - however decided to leave it wide open. Good work on bringing that up.

The rec. yards and Rec. TDs records are there for the taking!

If Gatewood wants to become the greatest Receiver in Mustang history - I believe he will make a wise choice.

If he wants to block downfield for Fran's RBs he can do that as well.

Remember - There is a reason that no-one in the country can remember the name of a TCU or New Mexico Wide Receiver that played for coach Fran.

So we're talking about the guy that verbally committed to Texas A&M on July 7? I know they'll lose some people because Slocum's gone but he'll choose SMU? I don't doubt it. I'd just like to know.
