I love to win

Does anybody see any realistic chances for another win this season?

Tulane?

I'm having a hard time coming up with one.

I'm going to enjoy the heck out of this week.

Depends on how we survive the trip to EP, but I think UTEP will have trouble with our offense. That game will depend on how little trouble Vittatoe has torching us. They killed us with their lateral speed (among other things) last year. That alone will be frightening this year.

I don't think we can beat UTEP in EP. Not unless our D undergoes some kind of miraculous transformation.

We have to get into a big-time scoring test with everyone we play.

I have to give it up to BL. He is getting better and Aldrick is becoming a player. The O faces a very difficult test this week. TSU was a gimme on paper but somehow we made it a nail-biter.

TT is a Big Test. We'll see what we can do against the big boys.

props to ponywarrior for having b@lls. I think TCU, Memphis and Houston trounce us. I think we find a way to lose either UTEP or Tulane.

FWIW: Tulane's Forte looked impressive gashing the Colts last night.

I'm not sure ponywarrior is wrong on any of those. I still think our team is going to improve exponentially over the course of the season, moreso than during the course of most years. Tulane and UTEP are mediocre teams, and none of the other three is unbeatable.

We will continue to improve, no doubt. Saturday night was a small sign of that vs. the Rice game. I've still got us at 5 wins this year.

Tulane is going to be tough for us. Its a road game on a short week right after we play our biggest rival.
