this is terren jones i play football in fort walton beach. to correct all of you, the information posted on scout.com was incorrect. i have contacted the scout.com adminastrators and let them know actual times. Th e short shuttle was a 5.41, the broad jum was 7-4 not 6-4, the 3-cone drill was an 8.83, and the vertical was a 22.5. i really appreciate the criticism.

Probably waiting until he loses about half a hundred. If he hasn't been offered by August he's pretty far down the lists of schools "recruiting" him. His times and jumps would have to be among the lower 99 percentile too. Big questionmark whether he would ever see the field. Its up to him to get serious about his conditioning before most D!A Coaches would offer.

Stallion, once more your consistantly positive attitude is much appreaciated!

Thank you for your interest in SMU football. We have a couple of posters that put themselves above our coaching staff (one of the best in the country) and second guess every move they make, from chosing a starting quarterback, to handling scholarships.

The truth is June Jones made one our most active posters look like a fool when he personally guaranteed that June would not even discuss taking the job with SMU, much less actually sign on. Since then he has been bitter and negative about everything SMU, including recruits that this staff is interested in signing.

Please disregard these stupid comments and accept the appologies from those of us that are real SMU fans and back it up with our financial support, not constant negativism.

Hopefully scout corrects that info for you. Meanwhile, Hattiesburg is boring and in the middle of nowhere. SMU had to stay in New Orleans when they played USM because there wasn't anything in Hattiesburg. Greenville NC can't be much fun either. Also, Ft Walton Beach-DFW=nonstop flight.

Disclaimer: I'm not directing these comments to anyone or on behalf of anyone or as a representative of anything. Just sayin'.

Well that's what we were wondering.......

Fortunately our opinions don't matter, only those of the coaches.

Granting that this is indeed Terren... You have a great attitude. You're handling this a lot better than I would have when I was 17-18 lol.

Stallion, where is your appology to this young man? You have had weeks to do so! You must have been the kid everyone spit on in kindergarden to be so bitter!

Hello to the poster of this thread.
I know big when it walks through the gate. The recruit being talked about is big. I have no idea or I should say PROOF that he is fast or slow. I also have no idea if he LIKE to push people around. I have no idea if he take JOY by smacking guy to the ground and then like to look for another one.

I DO trust out coaches to look for good player. I DO trust our teacher to try to provide a college education. I do trust our weight room to take young men and make then tough men.

Stallion, your information seems to have been wrong. Please appologize.
