Anybody heard from CSTV about their effUp?

I just tried to watch the Texas State game and I am still getting this game not archived yet.

What a stinkin' pile of poop!

The game won't be archived because of the feed quality. What you saw (or didn't see) during the game is what they would archive and, therefore, there's nothing to archive. We had the production company out yesterday to address the problem, so All-Access should return for the TCU game.

Thanks for the info.

I assume the feed was a CSTV problem and not SMU's issue.

Hopefully the feed will be up and running next time I attempt to watch.

I am coming for the Parent's weekend and the TCU game.

Hopefully both SMU's broadcast and game will be flawless! :D

A lot of the ALL Access problems in the past have been SMU issues. They may have been this weekend, but I do not know. I believe it is a matter of copordinating equipment. But for what it is worth (and that may not be a lot for those that have had bad experiences) Brad Sutton does yeoman's work in making it right whenever he is able. Any problem with the feed regardless of from where it originates, Brad will do everything in his power to correct the situation. I would bet the situation is much improved for TCU and forward for the year.

I sent an email to CSTV tech. support circa. 8 PM Saturday when I could not get the video to work and kept getting their default recording to the effect that the event had not started. Guess what?????? Finally, got a response this afternoon ( Tues. 9/9; yes, very timely ) advising that they had reset my log-in name and everything should be fine.( No mention or indication of their technical problems with the feed....etc.) I could now log in and watch the game. I guess there are 3 days of system delays between the U.S. and India. What can I say?? What a pathetic response!!!

Not much point in trying to watch as there is nothing to watch unfortunately.

Dad--Thanks for the SID info. The lesson learned is that if CSTV goes down or has a problem you cannot expect any timely tech. support via email which proved ridiculous. Further, expect at least a 45 minute wait ( which I endured ) to initiate telephonic contact with their tech. support who were not even aware they were having feed issues. In addition, they had no explanation of why their system could not/did not post a technical trouble recording so that subscribers would understand the situation and not question whether or not their own computer systems were set up and operating properly.
