Rumor has it the Flower Mound (Marcus) WR now has SMU as his top choice, over TCU, UT and A&M. Can anyone confirm? I've seen him a bunch of times, and he's a player.

By the way, Marvyn is about 6-2, 200, and really fast.

Another darkhorse WR candidate:

Crockett (Texas) WR Untwaun Johnson (5-11, 175, 4.5). Plays WR, DB and returns Punts and kick offs. Very athletic.

....is Byrd really getting offers from Top Teams? I haven't really been able to detect that he is getting big-time offers. I seriously doubt that UT and A&M have any intention of offering Byrd with their few remaining scholarships.

I agree with Stallion. I don't find anything to indicate scholarship offers from UT or aNm, but one newspaper reported that he took unofficial visits to both schools, and was well received. If aNm loses Gatewood (to UT, perhaps?), maybe Franocchio goes after Byrd? At the beginning of the season, he was getting big-time press. How did he do this year at Marcus?

Can Peveto be a help in landing this guy?

I've seen him listed at 6'3" and 6'4" - for whatever that's worth.
