Ok...now fire away - tell me that TCU sucks and ask me why you care!
RF, you always seem to be pretty level-headed on here, so this is in no way directed personally to you, but Froggie-dom:
Weather?! Really? They are moving a game because a hurricane might come within 300 miles of Fort Worth and dump a little rain?! Seriously?! Are you sure you don't want to move it inside your indoor practice area?
I don't think it's being moved because of "a little rain" - I think it's the logistics of having police hired as security, fans travelling to & from FW for the game, and a visiting team that has to get back to California.

I think we have a speed advantage so I wouldn't mind playing the game indoors. They are talking 40-50mph winds especially if the thing veers north once it makes landfall. I'm guessing they are much more concerned with high winds and lightning than rain but I have no idea. I wonder if they are also hoping that Stanford will be able to get out of town after the game? Whatever the reason, I think bad weather would certainly help the Cardinal so I am glad it was changed - did Stanford have to agree to the change??
The biggest problem I am hearing for both the Dallas/FW area and Austin is the need of all law enforcement folks to assist with people evacuating from the coast. Thus no security at the game as Uptownstang mentioned. Other than tornados and lightening, and perhaps ice later in the year, there is no real reason to cancel a football game due to weather. (I will throw in earthquakes for the west coasters.)
