ive been by the Bookstore many times this semester already...everytime because that stupid good for nothin B&N doesent have the books i need for class on time...but anyway, the new blue jerseys have been catching my eye of which i am planning to buy one soon. But thinkin about it now i have only seen "11" jerseys and i know the historical Significance of 11 for SMU but could we get the jersey numbers of some of our most famous and most well known players up for sale too? or at least Doak????

ive heard this from many friends/parents/fans and it seems as if none of the online jersey sites have the new updated version of the jersey. make a call to the Ath. Dept and see where they can direct you. im sure they can help out.

Doak wore red.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

The reason all of the jerseys have #11 is to signify SMU's centennial year in 2011. Seriously. Heard this from a top-level SMU administrator a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, no one's arguing the 11, I think it's a fine non-specific-player choice, and it has a tie-in to our school's past (yay!).
But they could at least give us 37, 19, 44. What were Raymond Berry's and Lamar Hunt's numbers? If they'd offer those 5 jersey numbers they retired, that'd be plenty for me.
Sent from my Motorola brick.

Support Logan Turner and get the #11 jersey. Send a message that he's our guy.
